Cluck! Cluck! So said Dad Binkley, and ran and hid in the bathroom with Bill and Opus. Thus ends the Noble Experiment, the Republic: not with a bang, but a whimper?
(And don’t give me that “wasted vote” crap. If those 58% who didn’t want either Trump or Clinton actually voted for Johnson, he could actually win it.)
I know it will annoy some, give others pause, carried awaywith righteous laughter, or incite mob violence, but I’m wearing my ’Ross Is Boss" T-shirt, & Pat Paulson buttons election day.
The Republican party has none to blame but themselves. What with their inactivity over the last 8 years. Trump is nothing but a foul mouthed shape shifter.
I’m surprised nobody’s pointing out that there are three different species (at least two of which are naked) in the same bathroom at the same time! Was this strip censored in North Carolina?
In 1988, BB described the Binkleys as “deeply Democratic” but the elder Binkley was feeling guilty about not supporting Jesse Jackson until he was consoled by Oliver’s dad, a deeply conservative and affluent black man. But I always thought of the elder Binkley as the conservative clashing with the liberal views of his son.
I’m seriously tempted this year in writing Bill and Opus on the November ballot but I feel the need to vote for someone real for President, and even Donald and Hillary are not real enough for me.

So are Alf Landon, Al Smith, and Harry Truman, but even dead, either would make a better candidate than these two.

When Newt G. was asked why he didn’t follow the Family Values he preached. He said he didn’t have to. I guess God told him he was exempt.

The GOP should be careful of the old adage, you reap what you sow

Technically he doesn’t have to tell him who he’s voting for.

Trump may not be Tom Binkley’s guy but I think Trump refers to him as ‘his Irish-American.’

Can Donnie even last until November? By October, he might be in full Howard Hughes mode, hiding under his bed and babbling about germs.
