I’m not an old fogey…but I do think that using “hashtag” in a verbal conversation is a bit foolish.

Why, in MY day, we said what we meant! We were all “23 skiddoo!” and “that’s the bees’ knees!” and “ain’t THAT a kick in the head” and “wouldn’t THAT freeze your Aunt Gussie’s preserves!” and…and…

OK, I’m an old fogey

I’m not as old a fogey yet, part of the “groovy” generation, but using “hashtag” is really stupid. Has it gone by the wayside yet?
