As I posted yesterday, I once had to use either tin snips or pruning shears (can’t remember which) to get some plastic packaging open because the scissors weren’t working.
Also, the spurting blood calls to mind the phrase “we got a pumper!”
What?? You don’t have kitchen shears in you knife block/junk drawer??
Was it a first aid kit?
