Danae’s altered ego??? In her dreams? Hmm…

It would be really cool if we could control our dreams and continue good ones from previous nights.

I think she might be the grand-daughter of the Gingerbread Princess from Haight-Ashbury as drawn by R. Crumb many years ago. Living in her acid-inspired fantasies and owning only the t-shirt on her back, she foofed around the Haight much as this gal does and she may have survived to have offspring who had offspring. Anyone else recognize this character?

Meanwhile, over on Bloom County, young Milo has been having a dream sequence, that is quite different from the one Danae is having.

Having to end up with a talking pet, a geek, an alien, and an enchanted weirdo for friends, Danae doesn’t send much time with her sister.

I like her. She presents Danae with a reality she can deal with.

There is a type of sadness which can also be happy, which for me also involved dreaming. This pair of new friends reminds me of that a bit.

They are definitely meant for each other but the question remains, who is the Ying and who is the Yang?

Jill reminds me of an old GF who’d discovered Amway and a much-hyped “How To Succeed” course back in the ’60’s. She still lives, but at a MUCH-reduced altitude/attitude and I’d declare her ‘normal’ nowadays, although her huzbin would beg to differ. (Me? Still recoopin’ from spinal surgery..the pain pills ain’t worth it, but they give me Real Good Dreams in what sleep I get !!) Oxycodone, anyone?? Jeez…… (wink)
