Birds make too much of a mess. I put out peanuts every day for the neighborhood squirrels.

Many bird seed mixes (though mostly those for caged pet birds) contain hemp seed, sterilized so that it can’t grow, since hemp is marijuana. These squirrels have taken that concept to a “higher” level.
