Calvin really had a crush on her? Or is that just patriot?

First swimming lessons, now his babysitter is revealed to be the instructor. This is going to be one hellish week for Calvin. I would dare to bet mom was the one who hired Rosalyn, or at least knew she was going to be there.

Will there be a sad drowning incident? He’s only a beginner, anything could happen.

Calvin can be downright ugly like in panel 3.However how does Anyone want to get into a cold pool at 8:00 AM? It’s a chore to be conscience at that time.

Spaceman Spiff should rocket out of there.

That’s exactly the way swimming lessons as a child are.

Oooooh, how I remember those days from Day Camp and having swimming at 9am in a COLD pool…especially after it rained the night before. Frigid! Now I live in Florida, rather than NY, and I’m loving my warm pool (complete with solar panels and gas heater for winter). Aaaaaaah!!!!

It is kinda nice seeing Calvin get his comeuppance like this. Well done,babysitter, Ma’am……. well done, indeed. Rosalynn is cool. ;-)

OOOOOh Calvin!!

We kept our pool at a minimum 78 degrees F. The only time it felt cool or possibly cold was when the air temp was in the 90s or higher.

I wonder if some the kids trained in our pool looked at my wife as Rosalyn…

My swim lessons took place on early June mornings (before 9 am) in Central Ohio (1960s). I can sympathize with Calvin.

Calvin didn’t hesitate to get wet while fishing and I’ll bet the pond was cold! .
