Lacey, it’s their way of saying they loved him.

It speaks volumes about him that Dick didn’t let the power go to his head.

That’s completely charming. Might I go off with such grace and caring.

Also this is completely implausible. She was this great woman and she didn’t handle this send-off gracefully? Nah. Arc fail. She should have stood up and joined them.

MEOW!♦When I croak I want the song “my way” played at the wake.

I would prefer that my life be celebrated, not mourned!!!!!

I’ve planned two old-fashioned pieces (suitable for one of my generation) if any memorial service is given for me: “Today” and “The Halls of Ivy.” And if someone says, “Most of the time, he meant well.” I’ll consider that a flattering epitaph.

At my mom’s service, we had a bubble machine and the organist playing “Lawrence Welk music” while we spoke our memories of her. It was a celebration rather than a sad occasion.
