Hi Happy!

I’ll have one of those……What? you say the man is happy, not the beer……..oh, Then never mind.

Occupancy of the coveted chair rotates frequently as patrons must go elsewhere to return their beers, and there is an unwritten rule that no one else may purchase or provide suds to any individual “on their high horse.”

@ beviek--How did you get the bird it to do that?

It’s a good way of keeping an eye on all the goings on.

Ballard St. folks having an important celebration, like a birthday or graduation, like to come to the Tiki, as Bev mentioned…and once they are …um… flying high…they enjoy riding high in the Stanley’s special wagon…We have an exclusive deal with the Stanleys…Come to the Tiki and talk to me or the Monkey about booking our “High Time” package!It includes a lovely yak dinner, drinks and a birthday cake at the Tiki…. and then a ride for the birthday person in the wagon!(Also available in vegetarian and non alcoholic options…sorry, no vegan.)

At least no one seems to begrudge his luck of getting the high chair.

Are bar chairs high to assist a busy bartender in noticing which patrons have exceeded their limit?
