@Tony“You got 20 bucks?”.What, on me? No. Besides the most I’ve ever seen together are a couple of bucks that wander through the yard every now and then.

How much acres does that lawn have that he gets 20 bucks for mowing it?

Gosh, are you in trouble, Tony?I know cartooning doesn’t pay very well….but don’t you have that “art” thingy going on too?

I don’t really have much money…but, of course, if you need it for food, I’ll see what I can dig up….and would a couple of cans of tuna help?

If it’s for bail, well, I’d kinda have to know what you did … er…. what you’re accused of…cos you’re innocent, right?Right?

No I did not get $20! I mow my own lawn!

If I did, I wouldn’t be giving it to Elliot for mowing the lawn. I certainly never got that much to mow.

I got out of bed this morning and didn’t see by obituary in the paper…

My mom used to tease me that a Costco hotdog and a shared frozen yogurt was my pay for mowing the lawn.

Sorry Tony I’m down to $16 in my pocket. If you really need it I could scrounge up another 4…..maybe..My reward is the quiet house at the end of the day. Now if these people would cooperate and go to bed I could bestow my reward upon myself.
