looks like the “bumper guards” on rikki’s ride slide back and forth to protect the tires as evidenced by the motion lines in the third panel suggesting that the guards do indeed move.. so I don’t think the tires are bulletproof themselves, just very well protected… tho it may not cover the sidewalls
Rikki must be late to the upcoming Tractor Pull competition. I still can’t figure out the purpose of those little bitty front tires. Seems like the load from the front-end loader would overpower them.
Honestly I always wondered why criminals never do just this. I can think of only 2x when they would go to such lengths; one the bank robbers with military style body armor that took on the swat team, and was hit numerous times. The 2nd was when a guy actually armored a bulldozer and ripped up a town.
I guess its’ true, criminals are a superstitious cowardly lot, but also "Ooh, baby, you are so talented!, And they are so dumb!
I’ve heard of tires filled with foam rubber so they won’t go flat. The Russians used them on some of their artillery pieces and I think their trucks. Maybe this vampire thingy has something similar?
