I’m so glad that I have always delighted in the study of our language. My maternal grandfather was a professor of Greek and Latin in a college before his retirement and he taught me to count to 100 in Latin before I started school. I often read books with a flashlight after I was sent to bed and it often was a dictionary, because I loved to trace the source (etymology) of words, even back in grade school.
