That’s as far as Marigold will go to give a compliment.

Deja-vu. Rerun? I distinctly remember Phoebe saying in the past “You aren’t actually allowed to sell me”.

This presupposes she has no dental fillings.

Wow! Now THAT’s a rousing endorsement — 100% organic!

Maybe sell her soul?

Though I doubt Mom and Dad would approve Marigold to do so.

Her organic certification would also depend on what types of soaps she uses. If they contain synthetic ingredients that are sufficiently persistent that they don’t readily rinse off with water, the residue would prevent her from being rated as organic. There would also be problems with any medications she’s taken in the past.

True. It just struck me because, a) I wasn’t expecting a rerun right now, and b) that line was so memorable when I first read it that I immediatly recognised it (or I think I have, anyway). That’s a sure sign of quality, a line you remember months later! :)

Are Marigold and Phoebe floating in the air in panel 1, or did someone forget to draw the surface they’re sitting on (i.e., bed?).
