Not only does my hearing ability become a tactical advantage ( no hearing aid but still… ) but my skills in understanding another language comes in to play.I should say, though, that these work only up to a point – my wife’s boiling point !
In all seriousness, how would something like this sound?
“I’ve worked hard for 50 years, provided you with a home, and a husband who can make his own meals, been loyal to you, We’ve stuck together through good times and bad, can you cut me a little slack on this one?I won’t be around much longer, and I would really appreciate it.”
Would spouses out there buy that one? Would you buy it more than once?
