Okay – if all the guy was doing was playing Pokemon Go – why on earth do the police officers handcuffing him while he is prone on the ground?
So now, Pokemon Go players are criminals?
Getting tired of the feeble minded tropes about the game by people who do not play it. All the players I know are playing in groups. Parents are out walking with their children and playing. It’s helping people overcome mental health issues because they are getting out of their houses, getting exercise and talking to other people who play the game.
Nope. Let’s just keep up the narrow minded view about gamers.
so, did he commit a crime and was unable to make a getaway because of Pokemon Go, or did he commit a crime while playing Pokemon Go? Because honestly either scenario works.
@DOSQueen sad,“So now, Pokemon Go players are criminals?”.They are if they also robbed a liquor store..Unless you have evidence the police are in the wrong, you should assume they are correctly doing their jobs.(And “evidence” is not rumors passed on by people who were not there at the time, even if they assert they were.).To do otherwise is to “just keep up the narrow minded view about gamers ” police.
DOSQueenStandard procedure. Gives them time to check for cameras and turn their own off before shooting the prisoner. Not likely these will do any shooting, but they will have to keep quiet if any other police do – or the next time they need backup, it won’t be there and they will be dead. Omerta applies to police as well as to the Mafia.
