Come on Dad. You should have known better than to have tried to squish one of Lio’s favorite animals. I wonder if he also adopted the spider from the library.

My dad used to just put them outside. Miss you dad.

So has his father replaced Lio’s other hero, Peter Parker?

Wasps, bees, butterflies etc get shown the window…… anything with 8 legs never survives.

Spiders rule in my house, except for the widows.

Just me, but the small spiders are ‘eliminated’, while the larger ones are set free outside.

There’s already plenty outside.

Sometimes you just gotta…Blast ’em!

I place them in my spider plants. I wonder if they appreciate the irony??

We’d rather have spiders than flying nuisances we would otherwise have. It’s like having a barn cat to keep the rat population under control.

Way to go, Dad! You win over the affection of the whole spider tribe as well as of Lio!We need the same concern for bats, too….

@ Kaputnik I used to catch them and put them outside too….then I figured out they were coming back with their friends because they had a “spider friendly” house to visit. From then on I just caught them and kept them in a jar…always heard it was unlucky to kill a spider in the house.

I have spiders in every room. Zero fly problems!

My mother had no problem with wolf spiders in the house. They made no webs and they kept the roaches and other pesky bugs down.
