Before this I wasn’t sure if he was looking at Tracy but seeing Holmes. So he sees Tracy as he is but thinks it is a disguise. He’s slightly less deluded than I thought, but not much.
It’s in Tracy’s interest for the authorities and everyone else to think he didn’t survive the fall in case Abner also survived and would come looking for him.
Good afternoon, VB and Comet and other puzzled investigators of the Tracy-Holmes saga!I continue to see enough to convince me that “Dr. Lytton” (whoever he really is) is more than just a little nuts. The question that remains is, is he dangerous, or just harmlessly daffy? My guess is that if his delusion is challenged, he could become hostile and very dangerous indeed. So far Tracy has remained lucid, but that drip has me worried. What’s in it?
I can’t imagine where they’re going with this. We haven’t learned much this week but we know where Tracy is. We don’t know what happened to Kadaver or even if he is finished in this story. How long will it take for Tracy to get away from this guy? Does he have some secret that extends this story in another direction? If not, better to wrap this up and get back to Rikki. Will she continue her spree or give up on it now that Abner appears gone?

He thinks the local police are Professor Moriarty’s agents. Better just to go along with it, Tracy.

Tracy needs to get disconnected from the tubes before the good doctor feeds him some of that junk that was legal back then.

Best to humor him, till Tracy can make a break for it.
Luckily – in comics as in soap operas – water can be forgiving and survivable.

So why isn’t “the master” reverting back to an English accent, Dr. Lytton? Hmm?

I think Tracy is feverish from his wounds and is hallucinating.

Is it possible that Lytton has “Moriarty” in another room, to prepare for a rematch when they both recover?
