I’m vaguely remembering the Games from 20 years ago; I was 12 years old then.

Technically, an Olympiad is the four-year period between Olympic Games. I think he meant to say he attended the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

No, I can’t stand the Olympics. And I certainly didn’t waste my money on them when the games were in Montreal in 1976.

I’m not watching the games anymore because gymnastics is over. I never did get to see the TKD or Judo events..Bev it’s more than wet enough here. There has been minimal flooding in our area. Fenton waste water plant is partially under water again. I think they need to move that thing further inland..JP Today we are competing in the day before school starts games. I recently completed to back to school shopping games. The competition was fierce and I don’t know if I get a medal yet.

@Tony“Watching the games?”I am so frustrated with the coverage, they showed the men’s hurdles qualifying but only two synchronized swimming teams, AND showed New Zealand and Australia qualifying for the finals, against each other but NOT THE FINAL GAME . And showed the two winning golfers walking up to the eighteen green and then it said delete and never showed the finish!I quit………

In Rugby, New Zealand and Australia. The Aussies won, which I had to read in the paper.

I lived there then, and I still live there now. The parking and traffic has never changed – it still sucks!
