He probably forgot and left the lights on. A connection may have failed on the battery cable. The alternator may have shorted and drained it.A good suggestion is to open the hood and see if it is still there, the condition of the connectors look okay and them if you have one, put a charger on it or have someone help you jump start it.

This time of year, I have to keep a charger on my car because unless the weather’s bad, I’m riding my motorcycle everywhere
