Spock ears? man: Sorry, we don't stock Halloween items until next week. Jason: But my school has picture day tomorrow! man: Which should explain to you WHY we wait until next week.

Next week for Halloween costumes? ‘Round here, they started two weeks ago. Including the marketing of pumpkins as Halloween decorations….

Things must be slow in your town, fear – here, they’re already pushing the Christmas stuff.

Hallowthankmas started a couple of weeks ago.

If you don’t hit the hardware store tomorrow, you may not get the decorations you were planning for Christmas this year.

The man at this costume store knows Jason.

not to worry you will know it’s Christmas by all the Easter eggs in the shops

Those of you who wish it could be Christmas everyday have not gotten into the true spirit of Halloween.

Halloween stuff showed up a month ago where I live and Christmas stuff’s been arriving this week.

The second week of August I was in Menard’s (chain of home improvement stores for those of you not in the Midwest) to get fall lawn care stuff, and it’s area had already been replaced by Halloween decorations. What they had left was relegated to a small corner in the back, almost two months before most of it should be applied.

I don’t follow the clerk’s logic. He makes money by selling stuff – what does he care how (or when) the kids use it?! Or does the PTA pay him to keep the Good Stuff in the back room till the day after picture day? (You could’ve saved last year’s Hallowe’en leftovers, Jason!)

Went to KMart yesterday and walked past a whole display of Christmas trees!

Perhaps the clerk is the father of school children. He might even be the PTA president.
We had a hardware store like that. It was a mom/pop business. The owner worked there, daily.
He supported all the school functions. Helped kids build floats for parades, mentored a lot of students, hired high school kids for after school and summer help.
That was before the mega stores moved in and put him out of business.

If you want Halloween stuff, start shopping around the Fourth of July… By Labor day (first Monday in September), the Christmas stuff’s been out for a couple of weeks… Easter stuff is out around the end of November…

spock ears??? lol. thats real scary

Destiny23–Perhaps the clerk is thinking that he will make more money from happy parents who will shop there year round than from a few school children who want to prank their school pictures. Then again, they say most of the current spending power is in children and teenagers, so maybe not. I still haven’t figured out how that works.

*Teresa if you see this, ask the manager to go to the stockroom and pull one out for you. Lowe’s will do that!

We went to Michael’s about a month ago. They had all the Halloween stuff out and were starting to bring out the Christmas stuff.

A box of markers can make scars easily. Problem is, Jason will have to decide between Joker or Prince Zuko.

I think he rather spared a couple of bucks then get filed a lawsuit by a lawyer when Jason wreck havoc in school and claimed that he got those items from the clerk
Remember selling those stuff to Jason is like selling plutonium to Dr.No
:D
