    If it moves and it’s not supposed to… duct tape.If it doesn’t move and it’s supposed to…. WD-40.All other fixes… hammer and vice grips.

    If you fix it with duct tape and it still doesn’t work, the problem is simple – you didn’t use enough duct tape.

    A true and experienced Plugger knows not to use duct tape for any long term repair, especially an outdoor exposed to the elements repair. It will just deteriorate real quick and make a big sticky, mess. A Temporary fix is Ok.

    I once used duct tape and a chop stick to fix the blinds. It’s still hanging in there.

    I have seen a few convertible tops repaired in this manner; even the “what used to be clear” vinyl rear windows…
