We’re all backwards at our house, I LOVE the “chick-flicks” and my wife laughs at me. I haven’t missed a single episode of “When Calls The Heart” and she hasn’t seen one. Go figger. So go ahead and laugh at me, I know what I like and don’t give a rat’s patootie what anybody else thinks.
I’ve liked the few Hallmark movies I’ve watched, especially the mysteries, but I can’t stand the mindless “music” they have going in the background. I wish I had a switch to turn it off. It’s just distracting and irritating.

When did Earl and Opal finally let their old TV go and get a flat screen? This is the first strip in which I noticed a newer TV.

When Doug Heffernan and Ray Barone went to a nightclub on The King Of Queens, kettle corn was the emergency password.

They’re already advertising their two months of Christmas movies for Nov. and Dec. It would take more than kettle corn ro get me to watch.

I think my husband likes these movies more than I do – with or without kettle corn.

Gee Thanks but that’s OK, I’ll just get a glass of Tea and go outside to watch the trees grow. Be more interesting and more happening.

I make it a point to catch Hallmark movies. If I ever feel the need for unhappy endings, I can watch the news or political campaign ads.

Love the Hallmark channel, even if the movies are sappy. At least you know it will be good clean entertainment.
