Reminds me of the family up the street from where I grew up. Two of their tribe of kids, set fire one night, to the old carriage house/garage that was on their property.
The whole family ( along with the neighbors ) stood around and watched the conflagration like it was a big bonfire.
Eventually, someone finally called the fire department but by then, it had just about burned to the ground.
This happened to us when we were kids. My brother came running up the stairs yelling the house is on fire. Once the entire family was outside did we notice that it was the house next door on fire and not ours.

Would you mind calling the fire department already, if it’s not asking too much?

I actually had that happen a couple of months ago. Although the house was two doors down. Still quite an event for our neighborhood.
