    Good morning Vagabonds.

Yesterday was not a bad day. Our showers during the afternoon consisted of a few drops. Finally at about 11:30 pm it rained for a very short while. The total amount was predicted to be only about 0.4 inches. That will really brake the drought.

Good morning, Vagabond, from lovely Spokane, WA.

We really enjoyed the north west corner of Montana. There are lakes and rivers everywhere! We took some really old logging roads for fun, and followed some little streams. We saw tons of wild turkeys, and ate at a very friendly Tavern. I think the people make the difference in small towns…..all ages and types. More mountains and rivers today. :))

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, Spokane is Michael’s hometown. If he hadn’t just left for a doctor’s appointment, he could give you some pointers about places to visit. From my own experience, check out Riverfront Park where the World’s Fair was held in 1974. It has (or had in 2003) a beautiful carousel complete with brass rings (well, red plastic rings anyway) to catch as you fly by on your steed. Also there is (or again, was) a “skyway” ride across Spokane Falls in the middle of town. It’s a nice town.

The weather has been great here for the last week. It is so nice to be able to leave the doors and windows open for a few hours every morning. We didn’t turn on the AC until almost 4PM yesterday and turned it off again about 8:30. Possible chance of rain in the next few days, but mostly just cooler temperatures. (I guess cooler is relative – I’m talking about mid 80’s.)

I knew Robbie had guest “starred” on Lost in Space once, but did not know the details. Thank you for that. I think Robbie is just about the coolest robot ever, and that includes the Star Wars droids. When he made all that whiskey for Earl Holliman, it was so funny!

    Everyone have a great day.
