Twice with no lasting effect. Yeah, I know, why me. Boring and sometimes interesting and then boring. Just do it. And then let everyone know.

Actually, it’s rather easy to get deferred, and being primary care giver will almost always get you off indefinitely. Of course, I wanted to be on a jury, but the lawyers didn’t like me.

Words to say at jury duty: Why would the police arrest him if he wasn’t guilty?

Is Perry Mason going to find the real killer? If we fry em, do we get to watch? I have to be at my psychiatrist’s everyday. Glad you picked me, I’m psychic’ I can tell the guilty one by his beady eyes’ What color is the crook? Could we dim the lights? My medication you know My sister’s a judge and both my parents were shrinks

And the top excuse for getting out of jury duty: drum roll

Will this count towards community service?

I’ve served on several from debt owed to murder. Will never serve again and don’t mind using age to get out of it. On murder case, we were sequestered with no notice which left a teenage at home alone for ten days. One elderly lady got really tired, and when I asked her why she hadn’t used her age to be excused, said she wanted the money for Christmas. If I ever went to court, I want smarter people than my peers on the jury.

I would just like to say, because it’s the polite thing to do and positive reinforcement is important, that I appreciate that we’ve had a week without the pelican. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Boy, you can’t get out of jury duty in Ohio! I had 2 small children at home and my husband had to stay home from his job to watch the kids while I served.

So far I’ve always gotten off because I’m so opinionated and have experienced just about everything too. Once the judge was so upset with me that he made me just stick around to watch for the rest of the day though.
