Dad eats pineapple sandwiches- mayo and canned pineapple on bread- around Christmas. Apparently the sandwich, not necessarily the timing (he just gets nostalgic) is a thing from his part of the South. Personally, pineapple is one of the few fruits/veggies I don’t like. I can’t keep cats, but although my dog loves a wide assortment of my vegetables… her eyes are glued on Dad when he eats almost anything but said pineapple sandwich. And even then, she hopes…

He he… I think Puck is being less than honest when he says that the pineapple is terrible. Look at how he is smiling when he first tastes it in the third panel and the “Mmm” he makes in the fifth panel. Methinks he actually likes it.

Got a cat that likes tomatoes and nectarines, so why can’t Puck like pineapple? .

Pucky has good taste. I love pineapple. LOOOOOVE it!

Funny, our cat Oscar was recently deceived by several cans of pineapples. He cried and begged thinking it was shrimp. So my hubby let him smell the empty can. Silly cat licked that can all around the kitchen, and then begged for more!

It looks like man was putting pineapple on cottage cheese. Pretty normal human stuff. Of course the cats see every can opened as Cat Food, so of course this is really terrible.
