I just listened in on an important broadcast detailing kittens losing their mittens. Lupin: Kittens losing their mittens? Oh no- Puck: Recently a cat played a fiddle to commemorate a cow scaling the moon- Elvis: Oh, of all the ridiculous - Puck: It's right here in print, Elvis. Elvis: This is just more cow propaganda! Puck: According to this report, everybody poops. Elvis: Well, I don't. Puck: Says here a cat married an owl- Lupin: Married a what? Let me see! Elvis: Given the brightly colored pictures and outrageous claims, these are clearly just tabloids!

I LOVE the one about the cat marrying an owl! A while ago I didn’t get it, but now I do! And just think, if we didn’t get to reread the strips, we would have never gotten to see that great bit of foreshadowing! Did Georgia already have a plot for what was going to happen way back then?

I just love the Woman including Pucky in on the reading…er, reporting session. Although I must admit that, from those reports, life is even more disturbing than I imagined! No wonder we need cats (and DOGS!!!) to soothe and comfort us.

I don’t know, could be a second marriage for Wicket, or maybe Mouse had dyed her fur for an important appearance…although she is just lovely as is, that stunning shade of pewter.Tabloids ! Clearly tabloids. Elvis is a serious journalist.
