Calm down for a minute, guys. It’s a kitten. Admittedly, a human kitten, which means it is large, hairless, ugly, and depressingly slow witted, but still a kitten, and to be treated as such. You’ll figure that out shortly. Most cats do, when faced with the awful products of human reproductive activity.
And keep swapping the tiny hats around.

Lupin and his little narrowed eyes is too precious for words. And Elvis, he’s so adorable when he gets annoyed

Who gets to nominate “Cartoonist of the Year” and is there even an award for that because paws down, Georgia should win it!! (The answer is YES, there is!) The details that Georgia puts in each panel is amazing!! (I’ve known this for a while; I am finally writing it here.)

I know. I love rereading her stuff because there’s so much detail in it, I always notice new things. And the colors are sublime. Once I found it, this comic quickly rocketed to become my all time favorite!
Poor Elvis…

After six weeks the pupal stage and the baby develops the ability to “bug” the cats.

Puck with hat hair…. Or is it hat fur? Anyways, I find that to be very cute.

I just love Elvis peering over the back of the sofa and then proclaiming that it will eat all the food and no one will ever love us again. Pucky is so sweet and sensible. Poor Elvis, at first an “only cat” then The Man shows up, then two more threats to the kibble supply, and now this. No wonder he rants.

I must have seen this before but it’s making me chuckle all over again. I love the hats, the “human chart”, Elivs’s puff, and…is that Lupin with a slight puff regarding hats?? I go back over these over and over again to glean all the goodies.

And btw…although it’s not new, I still get all misty over the happy little family on the couch, since Georgia has sort of taken all of us into hers. Know you’re busy, but HAPPY MEMORIES, Georgia!

Fritz Leiber wrote a short story “Spacetime for Springers” in which a kitten genius has figured out he will grow up to be a person and the tiny mewling baby will obviously become a tomcat. The conclusion of the story is one of heartbreaking bravery that I will never forget.

Spacetime for Springers was one of my favourites. I’ll look it up and read it again.
