Well she made it out alive.

All internet enabled cars that I am aware of put the “entertainment system” on the same bus as engine control – making them vulnerable to remote control. Although currently, this means killing or revving the engine – as steering is not (yet) under computer control (except for the high end Mercedes). This is very likely what happened to Breitbart.

Even stupider, airplanes with Wifi put the entertainment system on the same bus as flight control – to save a few wires. A proof of concept attack demonstrated ability to log flight control data (the hacker not wanting to risk any lives by sending commands). The next 911 hijackers needn’t bother actually being on the plane.

Rikki has been jolted into a quick change of attitude and a rushed anti-Batgirl-like action! She looks very vulnerable and sweet in panel 3, quite unlike yesterday’s homicidal would-be killer of Chief Patton. Matty Squared isn’t really trying to harm her; he’s just programmed that way (yeah, as Jessica Rabbit said…). But he is very efficient, taking virtual control of the Vampire Mechanique with ease (to be fair, Rikki had no inkling of Bribery’s new plan for her nor of his electronic resources). For Pat, this is a serendipitous turn of events. He may even be able to capture Rikki and get her to turn on Bribery….

Seems to me that Bribery is overstepping. I was under the impression that Abner Kadaver and Rikki Mortis were independent contractors rather on a work for hire basis rather than employees. As such if she chooses to work for another “client” – in this case Ms. Rikki Mortis of TracyTown – he doesn’t have any cause to prevent her from completing that task for her new client. Of course since they’re all crooks, I doubt that contract law comes into the equation much.

The TNT is just a visual, like a cartoon. The actual explosion may have zero to do with TNT at all.
