Urban Dictionary defined SBD for me.

In a field awash with four-panel-gag comics that occasionally give me a chuckle, “Frazz” is the only one that makes me think first. My usual reaction is “I don’t get… Ah, nice!”

I’ve missed that sort of gentle, erudite insight on the human condition since Walt Kelly passed.

I’ve been unwittingly following Frazz for several months (as it is next to my other favorites in my paper) always seeming to note the plays on words and deeper meanings that have prompted double takes more often than not.Mallett has a gift in divining the humorous from an all-too-familiar, universally-recognized setting (even removed by several decades). Thanks for this (and other) opportunities to ponder the genius that is Frazz. From a new fan.
