Tracy is angry. Honeymoon is angry. (No doubt Mysta is also angry.) Bellowthon thinks Homeymoon is not human, but Honeymoon is closer to the mark saying Bellowthon is not human. Nice bit of irony.

I foresee Honeymoon and Mysta having to save Bellowthon by the end of the story.

Genetically lunar blood strain would drain out in about 6 generations. They are in fact an endangered species.

I posted Monday that this reeks of the Marvel Comics Universe to which I was referring to the fictional “Mutant Registration Act” mentioned in both the comic book series and the animatedTV series X-Men (1992-1997) which somewhat relates tothis story arc.

I had to go read up on “Son of Spike” (Spike Jr.) in the Dick Tracy wikia. I guess I’ll read the strips in the archives when I get a chance…

It reminds me of the movie “District 9” where there is Apartheid between blacks & whites and also racial apartheid between humans and aliens….and all the politics that goes with it. Racists always claim they are “Not” racist…TBC

One Congressthing’s inhuman and Bellowthon becomes another Lunarian’s inhuman. Ironic, yes, but, oh, the humanity! I am perversely amused by Morrow’s faux Spoiler Alert: it would be shamefully satisfying!But in fact I see no clear indication in today’s strip of anything to come. It all remains highly ambiguous to me at this point….

Usually, I steer well clear of politics, but when accusations start flying around, I’d advocate that one ‘Show Their Work’ and cite multiple sources.

Otherwise, it’s hearsay … or partisan wankery.

Bellowthon’s bellowing is racism, pure and simple. If a Terran and a Lunarian, like Junior Tracy and the original Mysta, can produce a sharp, charming, and good citizen like Honeymoon, I say go for it. I hate to break it to all the “racial purists” out there, but we, as humanity, are meant to blend.

And no politician better not attack my adopted half-Latino nephew. Just saying.
