Looking at the way JJ has Janis posed one is given pause to wonder if he was inspired by David’s Madam Recamier, Manet’s Olympia or perhaps Ingres’ Odalesque Couchee. That being said one has to admit that the pose is mildly erotic and suggestive.
from the angle he’s shooting, I’d say it’s a pic of her face. So no erotica there except the love of an angelic face at rest. I have one of those of my wife sleeping on my screen saver… she’s beautiful . That said, the rest of Janis’ pose does look a tad erotic.
My hubby wanted to be a photographer when he was younger, but has done other jobs to support the family. Photography became a (limited because of film cost) hobby, now an easily done hobby, with digital. When I turned “a certain age” I said “no more wife photos”! And with the exception of once or twice, he’s complied happily. There are so many other things to take photos of….grandkids…nature…our bunny…did I mention grandkids?
