    Crucifixion was the worst part of Earth Sciences in college. It kept the class size down, though.

    Let’s see some truth in cartooning. Here’s another example of cartoonist ignorance. You can’t crucify someone by nailing through their hands. It will pull out. You have go through the wrist, as the Romans and everyone else well understood. There’s a lot you have to know to put on a good crucifiction. Mostly people were just tied to the cross, so you also should give them an inadequately tiny footrest. Prolongs the show. Otherwise, the diaphragm stays under continuous tension and kills them quickly. And, like everyone else, he’s got the cross wrong. It was just a “T” shape. Easier to build, and you don’t need the top upright, anyway.
