when I was homeless in tulsa I finally found a place to stay in the better tulsa retirement village for vietnam veteran , bible quoting transients. I had no problem moving my stuff because I had it all packed and ready to go in my grocery cart next to my park bench. I hated that grocery cart. it had this wobbly wheel that made this KA CHUCK KA CHUCK sound every time i pushed it down the sidewalk. It was embarrassing!

I fill the boxes with bottles & cans, & turn them in at the recycling center.

Me, too, Nighthawks, even though I used to rag on him a lot.

Try Craigslist, there are always “Free Boxes” ads.

I just put up a note offering to neighbors when I moved here (after 30+ years in the old place). I also cut down some of the heavy “book boxes” as storage for the dozens of VHS tapes (which I still have)- and now I have MANY more DVDs of all my favorite series because I envision not being able to afford cable TV (and I could rewatch every season from the beginning of Top Chef, Project Runway and so many others). I do a lot of online shopping so also take boxes to local shipping stores- the plastic peanuts too. They seem happy to recycle them. I may sell as many VHS on Alibris as I can (could use the money).

Nighthawks and shytimes, you helped get him off and that’s not enough! You still go after him! Well he’ll be happy to know you still think of him often, and have actually made him famous!

As to the strip: recycle the boxes!
