Oye of course NOT K of L. Those are what one would call just an aperitif. This establishment doesn’t deal with LARGE kegs. Andy’s arranged for THOSE to be delivered!

@Sandfan, GO READ THE CONSTITUTION. Then understand that it doesn’t say there is a required separation between church and state. What isn’t allowed is a state sponsored religion. I get so tired of people like you that assume they know what it says and have probably never even read it. It doesn’t require some stupid lawyer type interpretation trying to insinuate that it means anything other than what it actually says.

I find it interesting, that the loudest complainers of extraneous posting done by others on this site, NEVER comment ( positively or negatively ) on the content of the strip ! At least the contributors who are so reviled by the trolls, actually do have something to say, and do comment daily about the strip.

That said, I have to agree with Number Six that the punch line in today’s Andy was telegraphed. He could have said. "Yeah, my mother-in-law " or "Yeah, Flo’s mum " and let the visual of his indicating someone off frame, do the work.

A lot of cartoonists have forgotten how to create just the visual effect. They tend to rely, overly, on dialogue.

Yeah, the punch line was telegraphed—it frequently is, these days. One absolutely VITAL ingredient of humor is the element of surprise. When you can spot the joke the first word or two of the first panel, it’s safe to assume that something went wrong somewhere.

About trolls: One of my favorite Dave Berg (“The Lighter Side” from Mad Magazine) cartoons was the following: A wimpy little man is at work, and is yelled at by his supervisor. When he comes home, he is yelled at by his battleaxe of a wife. That night, he goes to the wrestling matches, and he sits in the front row. This time, he does the yelling: “Rip his arm off and hit him over the head with the bloody stump!” Whenever I see an internet troll, I think of this cartoon, for obvious reasons.

@AffiA false BBQ is where you pretend to cook a very large side of beef and then pretend to eat it.Very low calorie. Good way to lose weight.-——————(Reply button not working)

Strange how this comic is the only one, thank goodness that gets so loaded up with pictures and personal information about bedtimes, cars and other crap on go comics. Must be an English entertainment.

My MIL wanted so much attention that she tried to split us up. She didn’t even care which would leave. When she was in her 90s and in the nursing home, I was her angel. Her eyes would light up when she saw me. Go figure.

Actually, I think Flo’s mum is parched and telling Andy to shake a leg so she can quench her thirst.
