I still remember making a perfect, fluffy, light cheese and veggie omelette for a roommate only to have her return it to the pan because “It should be crispy.” Since she was “in a hurry”, she overheated and burned the pan, ruining it for any future omelette making.
I insisted she buy another pan after ruining my cookware. She did – and then destroyed that pan cooking herself a cheeseburger because she was once again in a hurry and used too much heat.
I moved out after that when I realized how much of my personal property was being ruined because she was in a hurry and did not take proper care of anything that she borrowed.
