This is for all of you who have raised chickens. I found this egg in the carton this morning. What will I find if I crack it open? A dead chick? I have never seen this before.
Bluebell is a sweetheart. Chesney, on the other hand………….bbear – super funny pictures today. Laughed at them all! Queen – Oh my gosh! It should never have gotten that far. Did you ever crack it open? A friend posted a picture on Facebook of an egg inside a huge egg. Two for the price on one.
Last Rose – I’m glad you got that chance to apologize the the person you were mean to. You’re right – the bullied sometimes do bully too. It doesn’t make sense, but it happens.
I was working outside one day painting my house when a guy saw me from across the street. He recognized me and came over and introduced himself and started talking to me like we were old friends. No so! He was the very one who spit in my face that day as I was walking home from school. I doubt he remembers it. But I do. I was civil to him, but not interested in stirring up friendship. I wondered the whole time he was talking to me if I should ask him why he picked on me in grade school. I didn’t ask. I don’t know if I should have or not.
Finding Tommy Smith looks like an impossible task. First because Smith is such a common name, but then also because I think 6th grade was the only year he was there. I don’t remember him in junior high at all and I know for sure he was gone before we got to high school. I don’t know if he’s still in Wisconsin or still in the country or worse, if he’s still alive. And oops – I got the year wrong on that bus incident – making myself too old. It happened in 1969 or ’70 – not ’67 or ’68.
Meowlin’ – I know you are right. I’m not familiar with the pasage in Matthew 25:45, but will have to look it up. But it was God who got me through the torture I endured in school. I refuse to start a religious debate here with any trolls who scoff at my belief in God – keep your opinions to yourselves. You are entitled to your opinions as I am to mine. But kmowing God was ther and feeling his words telling me that those who hurt me would pay helped me a lot.

Your wish is my command: There is a 10 yr old cat that was at the shelter for a while. Then Susan took her home. Gina at the shelter has been working hard to find place for her
She finally found one up in Park City (UT) But how to get her up there is the problem.
I suggested a Greyhound bus ticket but they said no. She would probably sell it to buy nip.
So, Brad and I taking her up on the 30th. We’ll make a weekend of it and come back on Sunday. We’ll ride the Heber Creeper (the Heber Valley RR). We’ve done that this time of year before and it’s really nice. All of the colors are changing and the river valley is gorgeous.- – - – - – - – - Wonderful for you, Brad and lucky kitty.Hope to drive up route 5 on Vermont/New Hampshire border in October to do some ‘leaf peeping’. We’ve seen the famous Green Mountain Flyer train roll by and the scenery is breathtaking by car, let alone train.
@Queen. I always open the egg carton to make sure all eggs are intact (no cracks). Your experience would put me off eggs for a good long time. Ewwwwwww

Yes, Queen, as LROS suggested, I too would take those eggs back! Can’t believe whoever packed those eggs or put them on the shelf didn’t notice that.
