Petey: That's a flier for "The gravity defying mystery hole." Ernesto: Peter, may I say that your characteristic pickiness can be annoying. Okay, let's try my newly issued digital GPS. Petey: That's the spinner from a board game.

Continuity issue! Yesterday, Ernesto had a big yellow sash across his chest reading “Guide”, but not today. What happened to it?

For an imaginary friend and guide to Petey (my hero!), Ernesto is certainly a disappointment.
Of course, if he were real, then he’d just be a failure, a dullard….
