    Good morning Vagabonds.

Still drizzly and raw out for today and than dry until the

weekend. We may get a storm from the hurricane then.

Yesterday our son and his wife took us out to dinner to

celebrate our anniversary. Had a 20oz. prime rib steak that

was great. Could only eat 1/2 of it so brought the rest home to

    have another night.

Hope you had a good dinner Jan.

Good morning, Vagabonds. @JAN: Thank you. I found room in my freezer for the canister and left it there for about 5 hours. I just (at 6:25 AM) took it out and didn’t see any beetles, so I assume they froze (hopefully to death) and threw the whole thing down the chute (ot “shoot” as I wrote yesterday, when I, in error, also wrote “too” instead of to).

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

    H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y, D A V I D!

    H A P P Y A N N I V E R S A R Y, A R T H U R!

Thank you one and all for the nice sentiments yesterday. Yes we did have a nice dinner out, we went to Lawry’s for prime rib. It’s a really nice place and we even found out we had a $25 coupon in our VIP Rewards so we got out for less than we budgeted for. And, as always, their food and service are excellent. Their specialty is Prime Rib and it was wonderful.

Yesterday Michael and I went on a short shopping trip, and while we were driving I told him the one thing I missed from my Prius was the outside temperature thermometer. So we stopped at Wal-mart and found one that we could use in the car and went home and installed it in the Fit. Talk about a last minute birthday present!

Arye, 5 hours in the freezer probably did kill the beetles, especially since you didn’t see them. They probably burrowed to the center of the oatmeal as far away from the cold as they could get. Glad I could help.

We have a nice cool day today. It’s only just over 70 at the moment, and the high is only expected to be 76. Then tomorrow it goes back up to low 80’s again. Nice day to keep the doors and windows open.

Keep your political ideas out of your strip, you are making yourself look as bad as the corrupt mass media.

Except the minor fact Trump is healthy and Hillary may very well keep over dead soon. This strip is the same type of blatant lie that resulted in half of Charlotte being burned to the ground.

Hey—keep the politics out of the strip! You’re not on the editorial page, dummy! and this strip—politics notwithstanding—is just plain stupid.
