From a strictly real life legal standpoint I not sure that is not a violation of the law. Or is it only if you give someone something in return for a vote for a specific candidate or issue?

I love the mail in ballots. I’ve done it 2 elections already. No having to stand in line. I just open the envelope, select the candidates, sign, and mail back free of charge.
