NPP and other supporters have ignored the fact that Donny Dumpster has been proclaiming his “talent” for assaulting women, and others, *FOR DECADES" in PUBLIC STATMENTS! That is why his simple nomination speaks so poorly for the “Republican” Party of today, ignorance is bliss, and voter preparation for them.

Mainly, though, they don’t actually want Donald, they just don’t want Hillary or career politicians or political dynasties or people who openly consider them deplorable or folks who get people killed for political purposes.
In our American system of justice, the accused is entitled to representation, which is what Hillary was doing when she represented someone who was accused of rape. This is pretty basic high school civics, but many trump supporters are unaware of this basic concept. Both republicans and democrats have been defense attorneys. Many don’t appreciate defense attorneys until they need one themselves. It is another advantage to living in a free country. It is sad that this is being trotted out as an argument. It shows such an extreme level of ignorance.
I’ve only seen two Trump signs in my area, which is sort of shocking considering about 90% of these people vote straight party R. I think their hatred of New Yorkers has something to do with that, rather than a particular dislike for Drumpf, as in many ways he is exactly like them (minus the money).
Civics is no longer taught in Texas public schools, which goes a long way in explaining the state officials we elect. The Gabblers, who though long dead, still write our textbooks, believed that civics should consist in reporting neighbors as communists and never read the Constitution.
