We used to have a very old radio when I was a kid. I remember it had AM, shortwave, mediumwave, longwave and a few more I can’t remember. I would spend hours listening to radio stations from around the world and could even listen to aircraft and police communications in my area.
We got our first TV in 1960, I was 14 years old. Before that I remember listening to the, Lone Ranger, Gangbusters, Amos & Andy, Burns & Allen and the Cisco Kid on a Radio much like that one. They were funny and exciting, since I hadn’t seen much TV it was All I knew.
