I get turkey so rarely I am happy to get it. Love that dark meat.The question is why doesn’t she believe it?

I am sensing a definite rift.

I see the kid with the crutches casually chatting with his friend. Often seen in the lower grades, when the young still possess open minds and empathy.Very good strip. Some really good interpretations on a printed form and all colored inside the lines. [When does that happen?]

Take a good look at the pig’s drawing: Caulfield drew the pig’s face, feet and tail on the color copy of his butt. Great strip!

Many yeaes ago, when we visited my parents for Thanksgiving, my daughter in kindergarten told her grandparents that she was “…sure sick and tired of drawing turkeys.”

I like turkey for thanksgiving. But if I’m the one who has to prepare, cook, carve and render (the carcass) I would rather have ham.

Good one! My other half prefers ham also so I usually make ham and turkey or chicken.

I agree - there’s a co-conspirator afoot.. The question is -- just who could it be? (find someone who has a tookas that is round and fully packed…)

The turkey tail feathers show more variety than I expect from “hand-print turkeys.” Considering the drawings in addition to the basic cartoon, that was a lot of work. Very nice.

Speaking of turkeys — “As God is my witness, I would have sworn that turkeys could fly…”

At least the ham is blue and not pink.
