That happened to me tonight. Only it was a frozen corn dog. My last one. There is no five-second-rule in my house. The kitchen floor is so dirty, it’s not a breeding ground for germs. They wouldn’t stand a chance. There’s probably a cure for cancer somewhere on that floor.
I’m gonna miss that corn dog.
When I was in college, we used to make the frozen soap bubbles for pranks, but we usually filled them with an ill smelling gas composed mostly of methane. We seemed to have an unlimited supply of the gas, especially when the campus cafeteria featured their infamous bean and cabbage casserole.
Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but home freezers don’t get cold enough to freeze bubbles. Industrial freezer units do,but it only works if the fans are off. Temp needs to be colder than -20F with still air.
I don’t believe it. I want to believe it. Oh Lord, if you had any mercy at all this would work on SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED. I’ll try it! No I won’t. I’ll just be disappointed again. Hmmm? Maybe ACME sells a freezer cold enough.

Spic couldn’t span it and Mr. Klean commited suicide on that floor. Got your mop. It’s cowering in the corner of my closet and won’t come out!

All I heard was “Help me!” followed by, “BUR-R-R-P!”
I love the look on Dad’s face in panel 3; I can almost hear him singing, “Let’s all go to the freezer, let’s all go to the freezer…”

Use the “hard” soap bubbles, the ones with glycerin in them. They last longer.

And Lio’s special magic makes it work anyhow.

Joe, did that corn dog just get dirty or did it sink into the quagmire of your floor that you seem to be describing, never to be seen again?
Is it dangerous to visit your house? Or fun?

I am surprised Dad opens the freezer (or any door in the house) in such a cavalier manner.
By the way, what was Dad going to get? A little ice-cream maybe?
billdi Premium Member about 14 years ago
dad has worn socks with the exact hole for years – or maybe it’s the same sock
