Now such a kind action deserves a reward. Lio, you’re such a good boy.

Unfortunately, Lio can’t take the whole country out into the yard and hose it down.

Dad: the politics zombie.

That’s what the debates were missing.

Moderators with high-pressure water hoses.

It’s a shame. I could use a drink of that right now.

You know if everyone had voted early, the election would be over.

Poor dad. Let Lio pick the TV channel next time.

This would be so much funnier if it weren’t true.

Another reason I don’t have TV.

He almost needed to get the rake to get rid of all the muck. Dad was lucky.

No doubt about it, America is frazzled. Many voters motivated not for one candidate but against the other. Discouraging.

Lio washed all the orange make up off dad.

I’ve been reading mysteries, one after another as fast as I can. I’ve become a speed reader thanks to this election.

That is how I started to feel like when I tried to watch the last debate. It was the first time I have even tried to watch one and it will be the last.

It looks like Lio got to Dad just in time, and Dad seems grateful for being hosed down and cleaned of the Political Disease. Such a blissful household (for the moment)!

We all need a Silkwood shower after the most recent election campaigns.

It’ll soon be over & our national nightmare will be gone. We hope

Actually, I think our nightmare will be just beginning!
