I’ve always called that a calculated risk.

Funny. That’s why its called the ‘bleeding edge’. But I like the idea of ‘educated risk’ vs. ‘calculated risk’.

Educated guess would be the right expression for guessing and calculated risk for risks.

The “Give it to Mikey, he’ll eat anything” approach.

Like “minor surgery” is an operation on someone else.

And still a FAIL!!!
