The parents sound pretty normal to me.

They sound sweeter than most of the parents I know, honestly.

Mom and Dad in a fight. Seems kind of normal.

That’s as normal as parents can be.

Mommy’s all right, daddy’s all right, they just seem a little weird.

If I ever made a comment like that, I’d be pushing up daisies.

I’m only surprised that dad actually said that within earshot of mom.

I always thought Calvin should have a little sibling, but I certainly understand why the parents didn’t choose to have another child. They are already outnumbered by just Calvin!

“You have weird parents.”

Calvin and Susie end up being equally weird when they’re grown up and… together…

not exactly today’s strip, but Calvin makes Dennis the Menace look like a saint.

It would be kinda interesting if Calvin had a younger sibling.

Kids are weirder. Believe me.

Good thing kids can’t choose their (first) parents.

I put (first) there to avoid any sibling rivalry…

At least we know Calvin’s weirdness is hereditary.

His mom does keep saying he gets it from his father’s side of the family.
