Transcript:
Space enthusiast Richard Garriott bought a Soviet lunar rover for $68,500 in 1993- it's still on the moon since landing in 1973. No staplers ever! Winston Churchill hated the sound of staplers- requiring his staff to hole punch and tape pages together instead! Almost 2 percent of the world's population here's an identical mysterious humming sound, with no confirmed source.

So the 2% don’t have a constant yet mild ringing in their ears? I can hardly imagine Winston today in an office supply store like Office Max and Staples.

A lunar rover that is still on the moon. I absolutely believe it—where else would it be?

My doctor claims there is no cure presently for tinnitus.
.
Wiki indicates the the problem is more wide-spread than 2%:
It is common, affecting about 10-15% of people. Most, however, tolerate it well with its being a significant problem in only 1–2% of people.

What I’m hearing 24/7 is the sound you used to get from the back of those old tube TVs with the volume turned down. I blame listening to Led Zeppelin and Hendrix through headphones at full volume as a kid.

I hear a slight hissing, which I attribute to my dumb friends and me sitting right in front of a giant speaker at a Joe Walsh concert…
