    It used to be that by a November all the leaves were on the ground. The last few years November sees some trees still almost all green.

    This seems like a commentary on global heating. The customs remain, but the world around them is stubbornly green and leafy and warm.

    After a little rain the bulbs that were planted 2 years ago breached the soil. By Christmas we should have flowers

    I love fall too, best time of the year. Not so hot its miserable, but not too cold either. If you like it warm then the afternoons are great, if you like it cooler then mornings are great.

    Peak leaf season is when ALL the trees are in full color. They saw ONE colored leaf drop….said how awesome fall was…and headed toward the south where it’s warmer! Exactly what I would do! First sign of impending cold weather….leave! Good grief.
