5 cents it’s comment on Tuesday. Matches my outlook anyway.

The sun rose in the east, and set in the west today, and will do so for the next four years, just as it has for the previous 240 years for the USA.

Yup.

Post-election blues.

Of course the sun will come up.

But on what?

The sun doesn’t care who won an election.

In fact it will come “up” even if the people who once arrogantly described its “travel” from their own planet-centric view

have all been wiped out….

or even their planet destroyed.

And it will only get worse; this cretin will appoint at least one and probably several more Supreme Court Justices – and he’s asked Mike Pence to put together a list for him to choose from!!Taney Court 2.0 here we come.I fear we have seen the acme of American progress, at least for our lifetimes……..

It goes beyond the usual “the other candidate won” blues. This is “the judge refused to issue the restraining order” territory for anyone who isn’t a straight white Christian male.

This drawing means a lot to me. It provides a great relief from a dreaded fear that has been growing for many years. It finally proves without a doubt that Paige is still alive and remembers how to draw our beloved Jane!

The rabid god fanatics and haters are going to be real disappointed. Trump is painfully insecure, and his obsession is appearing successful. Success, in terms of the President’s office, is that things get done, a lack of stagnation and gridlock. He’s going to be do his thing, cut deals, with both sides of Congress. Remember, he has no real ideologies, aside from his own ego and money. A lot of token stuff, but no wall, no tariffs, and, quite possibly, something closer to national health insurance than Obamacare, because that’s the fix for greed in the medical dodge. In short, big talk, consistent compromise, and publicly ridicule anyone in Congress who doesn’t want to play nice. He’s a lout, but he’s old enough that he’s one-term, and he has limited time to look like he’s effective. And he can’t do that by fighting half the country.

LGBT Rights were on the ballot.

Sigh.

I’m with Jane.

Once good thing came out of Tuesday, the long national nightmare of the Clinton’s is now over. I’m not sure if the cure is worse than the disease.

This comic expresses how I feel. To the wonderful people telling us who voted differently from them with thier such caring attitudes – You are the reason I am depressed. Such hatefulness expressed. I am so tired of the Trump people acting like nasty jerks. That is a main reason I voted like I did. And the other side got the majority of votes. Just saying.

Hate, a word bandied about too easily and in realty too easily invoked.

I feel the same, Jane.

The exceptional thing about Jane’s World is that we get to hear the unique perspective of LGBTQ issues in the more or less mainstream press. This is extraordinarily valuable and instructive, regardless of one’s political views. And right now this queer woman is scared and sad.

I’m definitely with Jane. I just somehow thought that America was better than this. And I was wrong. Not completely wrong – Hillary did get the popular vote, barely – but wrong enough. I feel like I need to apologize to the entire civilized world.

My quotation marks on words like “up” and “travel” have meaning, but perhaps not clearly enough.

I’m saying that the sun will keep on doing whatever it does….

which is actually to just sit there, in the middle, in relation to what we call “our” solar system.

It will remain there,

even if we, the people of the Earth (who egotistically say it “travels” in a direction we call “rising”),

along with our whole planet, are destroyed

by some loose cannon who has just been chosen to put his short fat finger waaay to close to the nuclear button.

There’s a movement to convince the Electoral College to go along with the popular vote and induct Hillary in December. They don’t HAVE to vote Trump. There’s an escape clause.

After Der Drumpenfuehrer has solved the brown people problem he will be going after the LGBT community. Get out your pink triangles Paige.

The “Common Man” that the Left once revered has become tired of being demeaned and insulted and now has its revenge, but at what cost? TBD.

What? Trump is LGBT tolerant. You could be a purple lesbian with pink spots and a Mohawk haircut – if you make him money, you’re in. If you’re a clean cut, straight male WASP with a thousand dollar suit and you DON’T make him money, you’re fired.

Gold has no caste, it has no sexual preference and it is colorblind.

Abolish the electoral college. At last count Hillary had won the popular vote by over 400,000 votes. The dump misadministration will be worse than catastrophic, it will be apocalyptic.
