that’s something worth thinking about, Linus van Pelt
But . . . Miss Othmar . . .
Loved the choc cake in choc custard!
I remember another strip where Linus wasn’t feeling well one morning, and almost didn’t go to school. But Mom already had his lunch made, and that was decision-maker. Waste not, want not.
You could eat lunch at home, you know.
I played hookey twice and no one noticed…
then there’s the fact that it’s Sunday :)
That’s a good motivator. I must use it for the future.
Replace “school” with “work,” and welcome to adulthood, Linus.

Having read Cooncat’s comments here, there, and elsewhere, it’s cleat that he-she-it doesn’t like facts and can’t do math.
Later, of course, Sally would have several “philosophies”, such as “In five hundred years, who would care?”
Seeing he, apparently, is carrying his lunch, if he skipped school, he would still have access to the same lunch.
My attendance was always very good at school.
That doesn’t mean I actually liked school though. I just wasn’t the kind of person who would bunk off.
